The project
Renowned local photographer Glen McClure set out to showcase his bold, unconventional portrait style in a way that would stand out to potential clients. The Derby Girls series—featuring fierce, funny, and totally original roller derby skaters—was the perfect vehicle.
What we did
We designed a clean, visually driven booklet that let the portraits take center stage. With minimal design distractions and just enough text to hint at the skaters’ alter egos and real-life identities, the piece celebrated both Glen’s work and the unforgettable women he photographed.
The outcome
The result was an eye-catching, award-winning promo piece that captured Glen’s unique ability to photograph personality in motion—and left a lasting impression on anyone who flipped through it.
