Amiraj: Modern Indian Kitchen


The project
In 2020, amid the uncertainty of the pandemic, Hampton Roads restaurateur Ashok Arora took a bold step. After years of success with his Nawab restaurant group, he launched Amiraj—an entirely new concept that fused inspired Indian cuisine with a sleek, modern dining experience. Our goal was to bring that vision to life through a refined brand identity.
What we did
We developed a logo and visual system that echoed the elegance of the restaurant’s interior—rich jewel tones, gold accents, and a balance of traditional and contemporary design.
The tagline “A fresh take on Indian cuisine” became the heartbeat of the brand. From signage and gift cards to advertising and a fully responsive website, every touchpoint reinforced Amiraj’s bold, modern take on Indian food.
The outcome
The final brand strikes just the right chord: confident, contemporary, and rooted in culture. The clean typography and thoughtful palette nod to Indian aesthetics without feeling clichéd. Every element—from the logo to the online experience—works in harmony to reflect Ashok’s vision and offer a fresh perspective on what Indian dining can be.
