The project
Following the expansion of Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act, many states saw an influx of newly eligible individuals—many of whom found the enrollment process confusing and overwhelming. State websites were often cluttered, filled with jargon, and difficult to navigate. Potential members struggled to determine if they qualified, how to compare plans, and where to find clear answers.
What we did
We created a streamlined, user-friendly microsite designed to remove those barriers. The site broke down complex Medicaid information into plain language, guiding users through eligibility criteria, plan options, and the application process. Our goal was to make the path from confusion to enrollment as clear and simple as possible.
The outcome
The resulting microsite for Amerigroup delivered exactly what users needed: straightforward, accessible information about Medicaid benefits, eligibility, and how to apply. By focusing on clarity and usability, we empowered more people to take the next step with confidence and ease.
